First I want to say that the order was mixed up. I wanted a black thread, but the company sent a red one. My car isn't a show car so it didn't bother me that much so I started putting the cover on. Followed the guide and I think it works fine. After going 1/3 of the way on one side, the stitched thread in the case snapped and began to unravel. I could no longer thread the supplied thread through the lid because it came loose. I removed the lid and decided to try again, removing the red thread and then using the black thread I got from Hobby Lobby for a few bucks, the thread is much stronger by the way. After a long tightening of the cover, I started to install the cover again. Now it worked perfectly, 2/3 done and the needle broke. So now I have to drive to the store with the hubcap on just to find another needle. I cannot recommend this kit at all. All in all I could just buy a new replacement handlebar and it would be easier to install and probably about as much as this cover cost me now.
