Great as an insert for a wire shelf.
I actually used it to line my wire shelves. It's not so thick that small objects won't fall off, prevents things from falling between the wires, looks good, and is easy to cut. I have tried wire shelf liners and they are either difficult to cut or flimsy. The shelves the companies make are never the exact size, they say 36 x 14 inches, but they are actually about the same size as the liners. That means you end up trimming to fit. It's really just luck whether they fit on your shelves or not. Then when they fit, they get thin.
