Review on MaxxHaul 70075 Motorcycle Wheel Chock by Josh Elkins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent value for money and quality! in Immobilizers and wheel chocks

I wanted a motorcycle wheel chock for very infrequent use when transporting my bikes. This MaxxHaul 70075 ticks the box as it's pretty durable and shipping for less than $25 won't break the bank. I've tried it on a 11 BMW R1200R and a 2002 BMW R1100S. Both fit great, with about 2 inches of disc brake rotor play on each side. Once the bike is fully installed it is secure enough to buckle up for transport. I will not be permanently attaching the stand to my pickup's bed, I will be attaching the stand to a piece of 3/4" thick plywood. The plywood is wide enough to make contact with the sides of the pickup body, eliminating the possibility will prevent the stand from moving from side to side. The plywood will protrude in front of the stand to prevent the stand from moving forward. When the bike is fully assembled and properly strapped down it is as safe to transport as any other big bike.

Pros

Cons
