Review on CAFÉ BREW COLLECTION Borosilicate Whistling by Anton Nosrac

1 - Arrived broken. I opened the box to find that part of the ring around the top had broken off before I received it. I wish I had returned it but I'm really lazy. 2 - The handle heats up more than enough to BURN YOU even when using a low flame. You cannot use this kettle at temperatures without burning yourself. Which was NOT the case with the previous version. 3 - The handle turned white hot and nearly caught fire today, leading to this rating. EDIT: The broken handle was the reason it nearly caught fire. Found by chance that the handle was in the wrong position on the glass part due to shipping damage. Now it was too close to the glass, causing it to overheat. I managed to get it back in place, but as I did I heard the plastic crack. So it's not as bad as I thought. Conclusion: TERRIBLE PACKAGING. Almost complete absence of depreciation during transport. If yours arrived broken, return it ASAP! Maybe then Revain will learn to do his job better. Don't be a lazy person like me. Get your money's worth when you buy.
