Sturdy but may scratch the door
The metal is very hard for aluminum and does not deform easily. Holds a lot of weight. It's also thin so it doesn't affect the function of the door. The device comes with foam tape stating it can be used as a pad for a snug fit. Well, first of all, they don't help much with putting a hanger on the door. Second, the hooks are attached with slotted screws protruding to mark the door panel unless you put foam tape on them.
