Review on Zyxel NBG418NV2 N300 Wireless Cable Router for Enhanced 🔁 Gaming and Media Streaming with Dual 5 dBi Omni Antennas by Kevin Kimbrough

I don't normally review products - I just contact them directly to the vendor, but this product is so bad I didn't want anyone else to be stuck with the issues we were having and out of pocket. We have deployed these routers in small parks or industrial buildings where customers would typically sit in the same room as the router. The device works fine from a couple of days to a week, then the speed drops to zero even with direct connection of TV boxes. Power cycling usually fixes this, but not always. We had 12 of these and have stayed with them now because it took over a month to verify that they are indeed routers. We spent another $10 on Netgear devices and haven't had any issues since. Also, the blocks are a bit difficult to program, but it wasn't a big deal. Please spend the extra $10 and from a quality manufacturer it wasn't worth the savings.
