I bought this knife because it looks and feels (stainless steel and black rubber) and matches the rest of my kitchen collection. Although it was a "non-brand" I gave it a try for a reasonable price. I love it! It is extremely sharp, non-hazardous, but so sharp it will cut through the skin of a potato or carrot like a knife through butter. The weight is easy to hold. Others I've had are very light and seem to make more effort to push the food through. It's heavy and just slips. The tip on the end is great for removing small imperfections in vegetables. I would definitely buy again.
