They sent me 2 pairs of these pairs - one original order, one replacement. I turned down the first one because the jaws weren't fully closed, they didn't even hold the wire! The edges were in sharp ridges and ridges, and the spring was too long - it sagged in the middle with the jaws open. Then came the replacement. Surprisingly, the replacement arrived before I'd taken the original back to the UPS store for return, so I had to compare: And the replacement pair was even worse! When fully closed there was 1.5mm between the jaws. The cutting edge of the wire had a noticeable waviness (what?). They seemed to be different sizes so I measured. Aha! 2mm narrower across the hinge. They were also 9 grams lighter than the first pair. The finished surface was scratched and also full of burrs that had become lodged. I tried to get some photos to attach but couldn't get any good, clear shots worth posting. I think I could point out the difference on the scale. However. I don't know what all of this is supposed to be, whether it's fakes or manufacturing defects/second goods or something similar. I know I'm tired of receiving so many crappy goods lately! Thankfully, the return process is pretty straightforward, aside from a 20-minute drive to the nearest drop-off point!
