Get what you pay for

Slightly more expensive than comparable Japanese made pliers set good quality looks like a good long term pliers set sharp coil cutters quality channel blocking

Pros
  • Welder
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Buy the best! long game!

I bought the last pair 15 years ago, they still work but are a bit outdated. I cut a lot of stainless wire. A very well made product. I've only had cheaper pairs at home for a year. They worked hard for me in the field and now I'm retiring and welding at home.

Pros
  • Tools and household items
Cons
  • Periodicity

These are my favorites, I have 3 other brands.

These are my MIG guns. You are tall. Not bulky and good quality. Some may be reluctant to buy a Japanese tool but I am here to tell you that the Japanese make very good tools which I have used in the motorsport industry for decades. Another example is pneumatics, I have a few that are 42 years old and they work like clockwork. Did another review here mention the user's grips slipped off on first use? I haven't had a single pair come loose over the years. Hooray.

Pros
  • Welding machines and accessories
Cons
  • -

Not impressed! suitable for welding and soldering

They sent me 2 pairs of these pairs - one original order, one replacement. I turned down the first one because the jaws weren't fully closed, they didn't even hold the wire! The edges were in sharp ridges and ridges, and the spring was too long - it sagged in the middle with the jaws open. Then came the replacement. Surprisingly, the replacement arrived before I'd taken the original back to the UPS store for return, so I had to compare: And the replacement pair was even worse! When fully closed

Pros
  • welding and soldering
Cons
  • high price
