Review on Zoeller 98 0001 Flow Mate Automatic Submersible by Jeremy Miller

So far I have bought 2 of these pumps from Revain. The first took about 3 months before the switch stopped working properly. I came home from work and heard him working like a straw sucking water from an empty cup. I have a radon control system so I had to remove the cover and wiggle the float switch until it stopped. Then some time will work, and then again the same problem. Since I absolutely need a drain pump, I bought another one from Amazon, since the Zöller 1/3 horse that came with it has been working for 6 years since we moved in. The second Zoeller 98 works for 6 months. Time before the switch started doing the same thing as the first. I took the pump to a Zoeller repair shop that I found on the Zoeller website and sure enough it worked there. But that's the problem, it works for a while and then you come home and it works all the time. Maybe he worked all day, who knows. So they charged me $47 to tell me my pump was fine. So two $200 pumps from Amazon and a $47 bill with no repairs. Needless to say, my cesspool is turning into a money pit. Be careful with this pump.
