The best thing about this device is the resolution. After years of using a 1200 x 800 LCD projector, 1080p has made a world of difference. However, I expected the picture to be brighter than it is. It's not dark, but I still have to turn off all the lights in the house to get really good picture quality and clarity. The worst thing about the block? Reliability. The fan started making ungodly noises when it turned on, and only after several hard reboots (because I couldn't turn it off with the power button on this issue - I had to unplug it) did it work as expected. But only for $300. . .
