I bought this unit for my wife's new computer. There were only two USB ports on the PC. This USB hub was the perfect size for the workspace that will house my wife's new computer. Connected right away and works perfectly. It was surprisingly durable and looked good next to a PC. The only potential downside some might run into is the cable, probably only 4 inches. This wasn't a problem with this purchase as I had planned to put it next to my wife's computer for easy access. A shorter cable can be problematic if you want to sit further away from your PC. It's been great for us and we've had no issues with this USB hub.
