This will NOT work for pink salt
to grind pink himalayan salt; it was a complete failure. The battery-powered motor isn't powerful enough for the pink salt, causing it to constantly clog. I've spent more time clearing jams than actually using them. You only need fresh batteries from the pack to switch it on; Don't worry about rechargeable batteries. This may work with other seasonings or spices, but not pink salt.
