Fair to Midland on Stands and Mobile Bases

This stand is fairly inexpensive and fairly easy to assemble. So he has everything for that. But there are a few things to consider. If you're thinking of adding videos, don't. They can, but they won't last. The threaded legs are only welded to the legs in two places. The rolling stress will eventually break the nails. If you know how to weld, you can grind down the surface and finish the welding on the outside. A bit of work, but possible. Save yourself the headache and just buy a mobile base for it. It lifts us to our feet. They're hard, cheap plastic, not rubber. They glide like clockwork over the concrete. Throw them away and find replacement rubber. The instructions say long screws, but they are all the same size. Don't bother looking. For me, the flanges on the corner pieces were nowhere near 90. They ranged from 100 to 110 degrees. But a little persuasion with a rubber mallet put her in her place. The side rails also needed a few bumps. If you decide to add a center section, measure yourself. The instructions state the wrong size. If you want easy assembly, buy a more expensive stand. But if you don't mind being creative and customizing, you can save yourself a few bucks.
