Review on 🚲 BIKETUBE Air Handler Mini Bike Pump: Two-Stage Pumping, Aluminum Barrel, Presta & Schrader Valves, High Volume & Pressure - Ideal Bicycle Accessory by Eric Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

You won't find a better, cheaper two-stage pump at this price!

Reliable pump! Smart design, shorter and larger diameter, you get more volume with larger diameter than longer pump. Even at high volume you pump for a long time, but it is much better than all other compact pumps advertised. The pump bolts seamlessly to the Presta, which is usually an issue when pumps say they both work without swapping parts, and it's always good when it doesn't have to be bolted on. If you have experience with them, they can annoyingly remove your valve stem. It's a BETO brand pump, which is a pretty good Taiwanese brand (virtually all they do is pumps and supply most other companies just rebranding with their own logos). a sticker on the pump that says "bicycle tube". The plunger is not connected to the pump in any way so it can easily slip off. Not a big deal if you put it in the back pocket of a jersey, but in a bag, when traveling or whatever, it can easily be pulled out and the luggage rack could be damaged. Immediately renders the pump unusable. The only other issue is the size. Although small, it's not as small as advertised. I have a small bag on my road bike that definitely needs to be tiny/lightweight and I wasn't expecting it to fit. But I was hoping I could carry this on my gravel bike, I have a bulky saddlebag on this guy, it's short enough to fit in there BUT then nothing else will fit in it. I couldn't put the 700x28-35 hose in my pocket with this pump, it's too bulky. The only bike bag it fits in is the large frame/tube bags.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
