So I was happy to see two of my rather picky musk turtles chewing on this block. They ignore hugs so I'd call it a win. As a side note, to preserve it, I broke it into pea-sized pieces. This way you can feed and distribute as needed instead of letting everything slowly dissolve in the tank.
