Review on Truck Bed Storage Box: UnderCover SwingCase SC203P for 2015-2020 Ford F-150 (Passenger Side, Black) by Derrick Lowell

This is a lightweight tool box so don't expect it to be full. I installed my hitch complete with the hitch lock, connection cables and a small fire extinguisher and must have reached its limits. Bouncing around the truck, any heavy object will also bounce hard inside the box, releasing the plastic clip securing the release handle and spring on the underside outside the box. Once this clip is removed the handle will pop out and the only thing stopping the box from swinging is the padlock which needs to be hung for security. So don't expect to pack too many things in the box. A few basic tools and connecting cables are all it can rely on without falling apart. If this box was better designed to prevent the weak clip from falling out, it would be a gem! I tried epoxiing it on but it only lasted two weeks and I found the clip back in my bed! I'm at a loss. Flash forward. I decided to ditch that box and switch to an aluminum bed mount. I bought a Better Built Tower case and it's installed in the same place but on the bottom of the bed. I still have 4ft of clearance to load sheets of drywall or plywood. I ordered it from Revain for only $118 and it works great without wasting a lot of bed space. I packed it with all the things I was afraid of with an undercover box.
