Perfect for retrofitting the original fuel/water separator/filter. I replaced my original one because I had air bubbles in the filter and large fuel drain codes that were causing the engine to shut down. In addition, the engine started within 3-10 seconds. When I pulled off the old plugs, the preheater plug burned out, which indicates a short circuit in the preheater circuit (collective error). Be sure to order the genuine Chrysler Fuel and Water Separator Wiring Kit 68043086AB to match the new connector on this one. Ever since I installed a new filter with new wiring for the glow plug, my diesel engine starts right up every time.
