🔒 Genuine Chrysler 68043089AA Fuel and Water Separator: Premium Quality, Reliable Performance Review

This is an improved fuel/water separator. I installed this on my 05 Liberty CRD and it fixed my air in fuel issues. I also purchased a wiring harness (OEM 68043086AB) which is also available here at Revain. Both are highly recommended.

After installing per Chrysler manual and bleeding the system, the housing will show signs of leakage and will cause the engine to stall due to air ingestion. Very bad design. what I would expect from a Chinese knockoff and not a genuine Chrysler part.

Great! Easy installation, perfect fit. Ordered with Chrysler Fuel and Water Separator Wiring Kit 68043086AB. Old part removed, new one installed in 1 hour 5 minutes. Not so bad, because I've never changed. The only downside was the brass/copper wire connectors. I used 2 different connectors that I had on hand.

Perfect for retrofitting the original fuel/water separator/filter. I replaced my original one because I had air bubbles in the filter and large fuel drain codes that were causing the engine to shut down. In addition, the engine started within 3-10 seconds. When I pulled off the old plugs, the preheater plug burned out, which indicates a short circuit in the preheater circuit (collective error).
