It's been a few years since you had to cut a lot of stone. The nature of the walkway and patio (herringbone) will cause some cutting, which is to be expected. Unfortunately, I don't have a wet saw, so I used a combination saw for the job. It cut through the brick like solid butter. You have to understand that cutting wood is night and day compared to brick. Not as fast, but slower pull/push when cutting bricks gave a very smooth surface. Depending on the type of saw used, we strongly recommend using a wet saw. If this is not the case, use a large industrial vacuum to remove debris as you cut and an air hose to constantly blow debris off the saw table. My big project is 90% complete. I ordered another blade as a backup but my first one cut just as well when I first used it.
