Solved gearbox warning on my BMW 116i
In December I got a gearbox warning on the dashboard of my BMW 116i, it turned out that this VVT solenoid was defective. The mechanic had to change the bracket where the screw goes, it was a bit wider and longer; but after a few minutes on the grinder he managed to mount it. Started the engine, drove home and no more warnings on my dash screen. I plan to replace the second magnet at my next oil change service.
