If you are considering buying this wifi security test product, please reconsider. This product is known for its ability to put itself into surveillance mode, which allows you to inject packets. The problem is that TP-Link recently modified the adapter to use a completely different chipset that is not compatible with penetration tests. In fact, as far as I can tell, it's not compatible with Linux at all. For some reason, TP-Link didn't feel the need to tell customers that their product is now utterly useless for the purpose that made it such a popular product in the first place. As a customer scammed by TP-Link, I advise you to stay away from this product unless you intend to simply connect to WiFi.
