Review on SANOXY_EXT SLIM CD_DVD Saxony External CD RW Writer by Charles Quinones

Played great while it lasted. Plugged in and ran. But now, after very little use (maybe 2 or 3 CDs of music bought from Revain every 4 months or so), it's died. I connected and nothing. No buzz, no green light, nothing! I bought the device in April 2011. It is now December 2013. I would say I have used the device maybe 10 times in total. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED! Now I'm thinking about buying another one because it was so easy to get up and leave or find something else. I don't want to worry about installing drivers etc since I'm dealing with a not-so-new laptop. He has Windows 7, but it's at least 3 years old. I changed the cables and still nothing. For the low price I'd say if it's under $20 it's probably worth using. Heavy use would give it 4 stars though, but as it was so easy to use and it was idle most of the time I'll admit I'm moderately annoyed.
