I prefer and have had several timers. Follow the instructions (windows need to be drawn out to the maximum hour and then drawn back to the desired time to set the time). "This” timer is completely defective. It hangs and stops, so you need to check it periodically and press restart. Not worth the time and effort to return - wish I had read the reviews - I usually do.
