Works great for temperature and RS485 port. My main task was updating the parameters of the controllers and the temperature sensor is just an added bonus for me. I wanted to change the battery settings to better match the voltage levels I wanted to see while running. The battery temperature sensor was just an added bonus! Since I use mine as part of a stand alone (camping) power supply I have shortened the cord so that it can easily be plugged into the top of one of my battery packs.
