Review on πŸ”Š Wolverine WIOS-5.8 Wireless Indoor-Outdoor Twin Speakers: 5.8GHz and Bluetooth Dual Band Surround Sound (Gray) by Cesar Hubbard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great sound but I'm confused about outdoor use.

Some ugly but great sounding speakers. You get three separate parts (plus a remote control) - two speakers and a transmitter, each with power cords. You can also operate the speakers with 6 AA batteries each. You connect the transmitter to your audio source via cable or Bluetooth. and then the transmitter sends a signal to the speakers, which can be located up to 200 feet away. My yard isn't that big, but the signal goes quite far. They sell Wolverine Colossal outdoor power supplies without the power cord, and you need one for each of the speakers. The transmitter and speaker setup is ideal when you want to move your speakers away from the sound source, e.g. B. at the far ends of a room with a TV in the middle without the need for audio cables, although you still need three power cords for each of the parts if you want a permanent setup. The transmitter is easy to connect to your device, we tried a computer with an audio cable and a phone with a Bluetooth connection and it was as easy as it gets. It connected to my cheap phone, I had problems with other Bluetooth devices not connecting to my phone because they only accepted high end phones but not Wolverine which is great. the family likes it very much. The sound is quite loud at 10W output power. I'm confused about using the speaker on the road. On the one hand, they say the speakers are weatherproof, and there's even a (poorly photoshopped) photo of the speakers by the pool, advising you to use them at outdoor parties, parks, poolside, and even on boats. , but the Warnings section warns you against using the product near water or exposing it to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing. And don't touch it with wet hands. Also, don't drop or handle "too aggressively". And do not use the device during sudden temperature changes, as moisture may condense inside the device. The transmitter is definitely not weatherproof, but the speakers have rubber covers over the DC inputs and no other obvious openings other than the buttons on the top - it's hard to tell if there's weather protection there, they are. ordinary buttons, no touch buttons under the film. I am seriously confused by all of this.
