I used to have a pair of 8" Bikemaster Tire Spoons (Bikemaster Tire Irons 8 Inch Forged Steel 2 Pack 04-008 151551) for changing motorcycle tires. However, these 10 inch spoons work MUCH better - partly because they are longer (more leverage) and also because their shape is different. In particular, these spoons have rounded edges on both the handle and the spoon itself, I like that. The spoon is also thinner to better wedge between the rim and tire bead. 10 inches seems like a good length - not too long, not too short. I think these are the spoons used by professional mechanics in Supercross races, but I could be wrong. However, this set is easy to use. It might be better to get a third spoon and also don't forget to wear gloves as it will help lighten your hands when changing tires.
