A lot could be improved

I personally don't like this magazine. Good page quality but I don't like the cover. I'm also confused by the binding. Since this is a mix of glue and stitch, you'll need to press and break the glue so it lays flat and you can see the unsightly glue. Along with that note, it doesn't really lie flat. -1 star. Because the book is paperback, the corners had to be rounded to keep the edges from fraying and fraying easily. Although the quality of the paper is good, it still warps and buckles as the binding tears to lay flat, which is why I feel they should have used an elastic closure. -1 star Because the cover is soft PU leather, it creases very easily and was already badly crumpled in the box. That didn't bother me, but I was a little annoyed that something was marked as 'new' and arrived worn. I highly recommend using white paper when painting with watercolors so that the color is not distorted. , but for acrylic and gouache you can go either way. What I really like about this journal is that the pages on a page have the same texture. There's a more natural grain side, and then a machine-pressed side (it's more "battened" and smoother).
