despite pictures with BLUE USB connectors. without reading you would have guessed COOL! USB 3.0 hub! Spring. This is NOT a USB 3.0 hub. In fact, I could hardly call it a USB 2.0 hub. I only have about half the speed you can get with a proper 2.0 hub. (tested with the drive, I'm getting 1.2 Gbps straight on port 3.1.) and only got a whopping 37 Mbit/s. if you're buying this for a mass consumption station. NOT. It has a decent power supply, but chances are all smart devices like phones etc use a smart chip, Qsmart or other Qualcomm device connected to chargers. these devices will NOT charge at full capacity. They only charge at 500mA, making them useless as a bulk charging station. Therefore, the only advantage it has is solid construction and easy installation. otherwise 1 star.
