I bought this for my little 13 year old Chivini because of his little hip hop suit. It looks great and is very light, but it doesn't feel like cheap plastic. It was a bit too big for him so after reading another review I figured out how to remove the linkage to adjust the size for Riley. All you have to do is line up the opening of the two links (closer to the end) and "slide" one onto the other. It's a fairly strong plastic that can flex slightly to make this possible. Then I attached a round metal bracket to the end of the last link so I can attach it on the other side. I removed about 4-5 links to make it fit perfectly. *Photos were taken before I figured out how to remove links. It doesn't take too long either.
