After spilling hot chocolate on my TV's original remote twice in one week (thumb issues) it died. Getting up to turn the TV on and off and turn the volume up and down quickly got boring! Received this remote control, put the batteries in within a few seconds, the remote control works without any setup! Check your TV's model number, which you can find on the back, and select the remote control designed for that specific model. There are different ones, so choose the right one. It has more buttons than I need, but it does everything I need, including toggling input.
