I don't have an office so I convert different parts of my house into an office and this monitor works great! It has enough metal tabs to operate three computers and when I switch from working on one computer to playing on the other, it's that easy! I will say that the cable is not the best (I can move it and sometimes the monitor turns off), hence the 4 stars. I bought the 14" for my 12" laptop and while it is heavy my laptop is surface mount 99% of the time so no problem. If you use it for work while traveling maybe get a smaller one but for the way I use it it's great!
