This unit cannot be beat as far as Bang for the Buck. $280 is an amazing price.That said, the product arrived without any installation instructions at all. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Fortunately, the engineers did a good job, and all the connections are unique, eliminating the possibility of an incorrect connection. The one thing that could be helpful is to know that if your factory unit had satellite radio, there will be two antenna connections. This is the only connection that can be made wrong. The WHITE connection is the one you want.The unit comes with two USB connections. I popped out the HVAC controls and put a small notch under the panel to run the cables out just above the mesh storage bag. One quibble though. You will notice that the USB connections to the back of the unit are different. One has 4 pins and the other 6. That is because only the 6-pin connection will charge your phone. Which seems sort of stupid.The performance is top notch. The system comes pre-loaded with the stuff you will use the most, and of course you can add whatever you want from your favorite phone app source.[Edited to add]If you choose to add a backup camera, it's worth noting that besides not coming with any instructions, the Awesafe FAQ page includes an incorrect backup camera wiring diagram.At the rear of the Jeep, connect the power wire for the camera AND the red wire from the video cable to the hot wire for your backup lights.At the front of the car, attach the red wire from the video cable to the red wire found in the same plug as yellow female RCA video input.Following the diagram on the Awesafe site, which in one place says connect to a brown wire, and in another a pink wire, will not work. Do not do it.
