I recently got my hands on the RSK6001 Dynamo Booster and it does not disappoint in terms of performance. The rotating rectifier coupled with the ZX70-12 diode kit provides a steady and reliable output of 70A, which is perfect for the HC7 LV6 series alternator. One downside, however, is that the base plate is not included in the package. This can be a bit of a hassle because you might need to source it from somewhere else. Nevertheless, I was determined to install it and see how it fares. When I installed it, I was surprised by how easy it was. The instructions were clear and simple to follow, which made the installation process a breeze. After firing up my alternator, I noticed a significant improvement in the power output. It was operating at full capacity, just as advertised. Overall, the RSK6001 Dynamo Booster is a great investment for anyone who needs to boost the performance of their HC7 LV6 series alternator. However, I had to dock off one star for not including the base plate.
