I love the look of this teapot. I just hated the cheap plastic bead caps. Luckily, when you unscrew it you'll find a tiny threaded mount with a standard Philips head driven into a brass insert. I just took it off and screwed it into a charred piece of driftwood after drilling the right size hole. Now I have the perfect stainless steel kettle. (If the manufacturer correctly claims tannins). I have a loose leaf oolong tea that I will brew in the morning after making the teapot according to your instructions. (This is unclear in Revain's instructions, but apparently you only brew the tea once to begin with, and then only boil the water two or three times.)
