Review on πŸ“Έ Godox AD200 AD-B2 Bowens Mount Double Tubes Light Head Bracket Review: Achieve 400W Power Output with AD200 Pro AD200 Dual Power Flash Portable Flash by Aaron Collins

Outstanding light. Terrible bracket. Too small for a clothespin.

I was happy to be able to combine my AD200 lights and get more power. I'm also glad that I finally have a naked bulb modeling lamp. As a lighting product, it works great. Unfortunately, the mount itself leaves a lot to be desired. The tilt mechanism is an old click-adjust variant with a simple locking mechanism that usually hits the softbox. The S2 mount (see last photo) has a nice adjustable lever friction lock that you can rotate to get the best leverage and avoid hitting your modifier. It also has a nicer metal collar. To make matters worse, the mounting hole in the AD-B2's collar is so small that I can't use it for the baby pin that came with my new C-pillar. This is a big stop for me. As you can see from the photos, I can't slide the pen more than 1/2 inch into the mount because the ring gets too tight after the first half inch. I may have to send it back. (See first photo.) I've been thinking about using the AD-B2 on my C-stand since I bought a 400 Pro this week (it fits the S2 mount perfectly, as shown). new features in your S2 mount and you have a winner.
