This is a project I got for my husband and he thinks it's ready to use. The instruction manual is clearly written (this is a must). The controls are easy to use. The remote control is God sent as I have a projector mounted on the ceiling. It also didn't take long to turn the OSD (and display) upside down, which you'll need to do if it's mounted to the ceiling. After installing it, it's a dream to use. At first I thought the built-in speaker sounded a bit tinny and might need to hook up separate speakers to play sound. But as soon as I turned up the volume (sitting almost directly under the projector), the sound was powerful and more than enough for any movie. The only downside is the multimedia function via the SD card slot. I tried several .mp4 files and none of them played on this projector. I know exactly what format this projector supports and I didn't try again after connecting my Apple TV.
