Review on 🔒 Raven R1508 2-Inch PVC Termination Vent with Stainless Steel Screen, 2-Inch by Josh Flanagan

Excellent cases. I recently installed a new stove and water heater that was brought outside with PVC pipes, one 3" diameter and the other 2" diameter. There were bells at the outer ends, but they were not closed. I didn't like the idea of those vents being fully open and they appear to be perfect. It was perhaps the size of an existing 2" flare fitting installed by the HVAC guys, but I found the 2" diameter to be a little oversized, but took a few minutes with a grinder on the outside the 2 inch cap shortened it enough to fit. The HVAC supplier said freezing condensation on the stove could be a problem in the winter and that the screen could restrict airflow at the vent and cause a diagnostic warning, but the mesh could not. It seems like it could restrict the flow enough to notice. The groove on the bottom should allow condensation to drain away, so after a nice long winter we'll find out how it works!
