Exactly what I was looking for!

I used a PVC vent to cover the gas vent coming out of the siding at my house. Beware of birds or other creatures entering through this "door". I forgot to read on the Raven website that a coupler would be required to connect this vent to an existing 2" exhaust. Raven, please provide some kind of link on the product page for this hole on the coupler's product page (for other customers like me, the coupler is the item in the photos that has the barcode on it). I would buy it for you too if I only

Well Done; Same size as tube, not coupling.

Good size 1/8" sign that is small enough to keep honeybees and wasps out. The sign is well adhered to the PVC. The product looks good because it was too big for what I needed: I had a 1" drain line from the water heater drain pan that ends right outside my garage. It was the only item I could find at first, but to get it working I would need a reducer and a Using coupler which would increase the volume. Instead I decided to make my own 1" shielded coupler before I found it on a plumbingโ€ฆ

Fit Snug But this is what you need

I got this because of some problems I was having with my oven. At first there was a low-pressure lamp or something, and the cooker was still under warranty. The mechanic came out and wouldn't say the problem was covered under warranty as there was no screen on the air intake and a leaf could have gotten in there which caused this. After entering the oven, we found that this was not the case. The second problem was that I heard a little "knock" every now and then last winter. I couldn't figureโ€ฆ

Easy installation with reduction suggestion.

Good product. During a cold snap this winter, I had trouble getting cold air for my stove, which was blocked by very light snowflakes being sucked in and accumulating in my air intake. I replaced the inlet with a tee and then added two of these at the ends of the tee to prevent summer bird nests and other pests. They are easy to install and should get the job done. In my case, I almost doubled the amount of intake air available so the screen wouldn't cause a restriction that would affect theโ€ฆ

  • Definitely bad product

Ideal solution for opening air vents.

Excellent cases. I recently installed a new stove and water heater that was brought outside with PVC pipes, one 3" diameter and the other 2" diameter. There were bells at the outer ends, but they were not closed. I didn't like the idea of those vents being fully open and they appear to be perfect. It was perhaps the size of an existing 2" flare fitting installed by the HVAC guys, but I found the 2" diameter to be a little oversized, but took a few minutes with a grinder on the outside the 2โ€ฆ

Frogs in the Roof Vent Toilet

Frogs fall into the roof vent pipe and then sneak into the toilet. Needless to say, VERY disturbing! Use this piece of vent screen to place it in a 2" PVC elbow and then connect it to a very short, straight 2" piece of PVC pipe about 3" long with another 2" PVC pipe Attach bracket at opposite end. The view was like an old phone! Had it been placed onto the current roof vent pipe WITHOUT gluing - this was suggested (no gluing) in case it ever needs to be removed. It would be possible not to cutโ€ฆ
