Put them in correctly and expect them to last forever

Yes, I've seen the attached video of how to install them to drywall without bolts. plzz never do that. Not sure at all. Find cleats and buy lengths to connect to them. Also remember that short rails like this 12” rail must be vertical and both ends must be in the same rack. Some of the others that don't add up to multiples of 16 inches (standard wall clearance) allow the bathtub user to reach them easily from a seated position and use the higher portion to stand up. With three post screws on each end, they are VERY sturdy but probably not strong enough to hoist someone up. However, I doubt anyone who needs handrails to stand would do pull-ups. As for me, I only included a 12" vertical entry point to hold me steady when stepping into the tub and to steady myself when reaching for the longer rail on the back, which I angled as mentioned above , I used torx screws instead of the nickel screws that came with the kit. I think they will last a lifetime in this house and will be used by almost everyone who bathes or showers, not just the elderly. It's well worth its low price, is very durable and installs in minutes with my wifi driver. An absolute enrichment in the bathroom. Get them!
