cheap cheap poorly made DO NOT BUY THIS

I rarely find poorly made screws. It looks like they are made of metal pot moen which used to be good quality. Very bad. Judging by the quality of the screws, the handrails are not to be trusted. I'm 77 years old and I'm renovating a house, even building a cabin. They are disgustingly poorly made. I had to remove the screws with pliers because the Phillips came loose. I even pre-drilled the holes

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • Nothing

I would recommend drilling a hole at each end and using a .

They were perfect for the handrails along the stairs leading from our house to my elderly parents' garage. Long bolts are extremely secure when riveted as instructed. I would only recommend drilling a hole on each end and inserting those two screws first before marking and then drilling the remaining four holes to make it easier for you to line up all the holes and screw them in properly without binding.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Hot tubs are now safe to enter and exit.

This handrail (mounted on a closed wooden column on a stick) makes my new hot tub safe for us old folks to get in and out of. Hairpin, I recommend NOT BUYING this 12 inch rod. Find the distance between the posts in the wall. A 32 inch Revain is much safer. If the lugs are 16 inches on center, perfect. For 24" tilt the 32" rail so each end bracket is over the stud. A secure fit is essential for safety. The falling man needs this certainty.

  • An absolute legend

Safety anchor Not included

This product is from Moen and therefore probably deserves 5 stars. I took off one star because the description is very misleading. The video shows how to install Secure Mount anchors and also shows Secure Mount anchors directly on the description page. There are NO anchors for secure attachment, only STUD installation hardware. If you need this item in a location where there is no bolt, you will need to purchase Moen anchors for secure attachment, sold separately and costing around $20. I would

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Minor issues

We installed them in our bathroom while it was being renovated. It was the best we could do. They are also a safety net for non-disabled people, even those who have a mild problem with dizziness when getting out of the shower or getting up from the toilet. Ours are built on pine slabs, they are strong and prevent us from slipping, which is the main reason for hospitalizations of the elderly. They come in different sizes so I just bought different sizes without knowing what I really need. The…

  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Sturdy bathroom safety bar, tools and accessories

Advantages: Multiple mounting options, clear instructions, comes with the necessary bolt mounting hardware, and offers multiple mounting options. It comes with six screws to attach to the studs; This can be a disadvantage for those who need to mount to a wall plate. Wall panel anchors must be purchased separately. You will also need a stud finder and spirit level for proper vertical or horizontal installation. The instructions say a 1/8" bit, but I had to use a 9/64" bit with silicone grease to

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • There are flaws

Great bar. Gear.

Dear Moen, Your brand is worth its weight in gold - it has great value for a good company, so why pollute your brand with cheap foreign equipment?! Fire your hardware buyer and hire someone who knows what they're doing, and don't let accounts make penny decisions. Your brand is worth more. I bought two bars. Both are exactly as described and very well made. The hardware was SHIT. Two of the 12 (two-shank) screws had slanted (curved) heads, they had a coarse thread pitch (hard to hit even with a

Put them in correctly and expect them to last forever

Yes, I've seen the attached video of how to install them to drywall without bolts. plzz never do that. Not sure at all. Find cleats and buy lengths to connect to them. Also remember that short rails like this 12” rail must be vertical and both ends must be in the same rack. Some of the others that don't add up to multiples of 16 inches (standard wall clearance) allow the bathtub user to reach them easily from a seated position and use the higher portion to stand up. With three post screws on…
