Brand to Avoid: Tires & Tubes

I live in Colorado and use thorn resistant tubing in my bikes due to the presence of the ubiquitous thorny invasive weed. You were salvation. I used to buy them from Performance Bicycle and never had a problem - and rarely had to replace them - but Performance has closed all of its stores. I bought Revain Sunlite tubes last year and installed them front and rear on three different bikes. When I tried to inflate them this spring, every tube was useless. The Presta valve stem has cracked and has come loose from the tube. When I examined the valve stems, it became pretty clear that they were cheaply made. There is no base around the bottom to help them stay securely in the pipe. They're like a straw that someone put in the inner tube and glued with some glue to keep the air inside. There is no fixation when they come loose from the tube and let me repeat: all six tubes did the same thing in about the same amount of time. These are all road bikes that are not used on trails. It was safely stored in the garage over the winter, the tires are not pinched (hung), all six inner tubes have come apart. We may have several months and less than 100 miles on them. My advice: save your money and try a different bran. I have not attempted to contact Revain or the seller. I will never buy this brand again.
