Review on Creative Blaster Audigy Performance Headphone Computer Components by Boyan Chukov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am one hundred percent satisfied with the purchase, I recommend this product to everyone.

Hardware sound will not be the subject of my article because Windows no longer supports it. Given the prevalence of soft effects, support for EAX in games is also no longer necessary. The card is generally good; I installed the drivers but forgot to activate them; no ates have been needed for years.

Pros
  • Five years after purchasing this card, I am writing this review. It worked reliably on both Win7 and Win10 for me, without any bugs, crashes, or freezes. I played dozens of games on it, and everything worked just great; the sound was not interrupted in any way. Positioning is advantageous since shooters allow you to hear every move and shot direction. The sound quality is also undeniably excellent; it plays juicily and loudly with no discernible accent on any one frequency band. I've been using Creative's sound since 2022, and after listening to my Audigy LS, Audigy 2, and Audigy 4 blindly, the sound of Rx could not be recognized from the latter; they all sound roughly equally impressive. because the new motherboard lacked a PCI slot, I switched to this card. Speakers sufficiently pump (first the Microlab Solo-1, then the SVEN Stream). The rest of the software is not necessary if you only want to use your computer for music and gaming; you only need to install the drivers and the Creative Audio Console (for instance, from the Audigy Support Pack). It doesn't get hot when running and doesn't need more power.
Cons
  • The treble and bass sliders in Windows can occasionally be reset to zero. Most likely expensive. Backlight and a casing are absent. 1 - a joke)), who even needs it?
