Whoever said it breaks, must've had a defective one. I weight 260+ and I stood on this thing many times, and it was very durable. The smaller pedals that came with my bike were too small and constantly slipped when my foot was on them (shoe size 9.5). This one has a great grip, made of metal allow, seemed very durable and I got more miles because I can exert more pressure on the fatter pedals. Good job.
