Provides a small handle

I tried to use this to remove the oil filter on my first oil change. (That's why the filter was shipped from the factory). The filter was very tight. This thing couldn't filter "hook". Slid on. Rubber seals removed, still not working. So it was useless to me. I ended up using a universal one with metal teeth to dig into the oil filter. I think the result will be the same if you try to remove the filter after wearing it to the store as they also tend to overtighten the filters. I think that would only make sense if the filter was lightly hand tightened, but then you can easily remove it by hand. I feel like my hand offers a better grip than this thing. I will not buy again, not recommended. I wish I could return it but can't as I scratched it a bit trying to get it to work. Do yourself a favor and spend $20 on a good all-rounder with metal teeth.
