Let me start by saying that I love iSpring as a company. I have several of their products and they all work great. And their customer service is excellent. Now that the filter is in place the experience has been great. It's solidly built and works great. As for installation, I'm a little confused as to which direction to install it. As your intuition tells you, you must follow the direction of the arrow stamped on the brass. My confusion stemmed from some printed schematics and an installation video attached to this item showing how to install it another way. I would also like to warn anyone using CVPC. I've tried connecting this to my plumbing twice with 3/4" CPVC adapters with teflon tape and on both occasions I've had leaks from both ends! I've found two solutions: use female adapters instead of 1" CPVC (the adapters I've used have a gasket - I actually put an extra gasket in each one to make sure it would mesh with the filter) - use a brass 3/4" male adapter (in which I ended up using a shark bite adapter)
