I was planning to use this with a 12" bike tire (which couldn't be inflated due to spoke issues) to permanently set and inflate when needed . Unfortunately, the moment you screw it onto the Schrader valve, all the air starts to escape! I was expecting this adapter to work as a straight-through, with an auto-sealing Schrader valve on the opposite end, but it doesn't . Even for fast inflation you have to screw a cap onto the bike valve and by the time you unplug half the pressure is lost. I bought an angled filler hose instead. one of them!
