These bars are perfect. We used four of these to add a structural beam to the new extension. They work well, and while the metal appears thin, it's strong enough to support the advertised weight. Install the posts onto the poured concrete foundation. If you can, attach the bottom to the base. Then screw the top flange to the beam. Make sure the bar is level. Adjust the nut so that the stand is securely attached to the support beam. After a week, check the jet to see if it has settled and then adjust. We'll buy a few more.
