Although this cargo net appears to be of good quality, its horizontal, flat design is not as practical or convenient as the "envelope" cargo nets that mount vertically and vertically be on the tailgate. While this net still prevents loose items from rolling around in the hold, the major downside is that you can't stack items like bottles or other liquid containers vertically to prevent or minimize leaks and spills. All of my few previous SUVs (they weren't Acuras) used vertical nets, which I found much more practical. I don't know why Acura chose this horizontal design, but its concession to the vertical cargo network doesn't deserve more than two stars.
