So I bought it in the fall and luckily Revain has a very long return window at this point. This is a VERY powerful machine, but the body is terrible. The stick itself smells bad and looks cheap. I thought this would go away after a few washes. The interior that connects to the engine also looks cheap. I found out how cheap you can make hummus these days. The plastic started smoking, the motor kept running, it didn't stop, but I'm guessing the plastic stick couldn't handle cooked chickpeas with olive oil, water, tahini, and lemon juice, even at full power. I don't recommend this unless you're mixing very soft items.
